"Rest in Peace"

This site is dedicated to the memory of our beloved son, Joshua McCabe Bailey, who was murdered on July 29, 2008 and whose remains were finally discovered shortly before midnight on September 12, 2008.

Six young men, ages 18 to 26, whom Josh had been acquainted with are currently in jail awaiting trial for his murder while three other defendants have been charged as accessories. (see "documents" menu at left for links to media and other details relating to Josh's case).

We hope if you have fond memories of Josh, or stories about him you want to share with other site visitors, that you will visit often and enter your comments.  (see "Memories & Comments" menu at left)

We are told by law enforcement that due to the number of defendants involved in Josh's murder that the trials will take a very long time to complete. Meanwhile, we want to be diligent about keeping Josh's memory alive so that no one ever forgets his beautiful smile, his laughter, his deep love for friends and family, his willingness to help anyone, and his amazing peaceful nature.

Our goal in creating this website is to keep friends, family members and other people who are interested in Josh's case up to date with news and to share sentiments, as well as provide comfort to one another. Please check back often.

Thank you for your kindness and your continued prayers as we all seek justice for Josh.
